You have probably heard it said that money doesn’t buy happiness.  If you start to pay attention you will probably notice that the people who say things like this typically don’t have very much money.  Money may not buy happiness but it does pay the bill.

Money is necessary in this society to provide us with our basic necessities.  Money also gives us the freedom and ability to have and do the things we desire in life.  Happiness is a state of mind but having the money and freedom to live your life they way you desire as well as not having to worry and stress over where your basic necessities will come from tends to contribute greatly to that state of mind.

The most common way is to get a get a job and spend much of our waking lives working for someone and in exchange they pay us money.  This is what most people chose to do mostly because that’s what they were always told to do.

Another way is to start your own business.  There are many advantages to having your own business but in many cases a traditional business is a lot like having a job.  In many cases people who have their own business end up working harder and some make even less money than people who have a job.  A business often takes a large amount of capital to start and it can take years to start making a profit.  When a business does pay off it can become a great thing but that is typically the minority.

Another way to get money is to become an investor.  As an investor you invest in or create things that will continually give you money long after the initial investment.  An example would be where someone was to build a house and then rent it out. There is an initial investment of building the house but after the house is built the work is done. The money the house produces from rent keeps coming in even though the builder is no longer working to build the house.  With a few investments like this a investor can spend a minimal amount of time maintaining his investments and the rest of the time he can do whatever he pleases and the money will keep flowing

You might think you will need a bunch of money in order to be an investor.  That’s not necessarily the case. There are other things besides money that you can invest such as time and knowledge and leveraging other people.

Two examples of this are Internet Marketing and Network Marketing.

Internet Marketing allows you to leverage computers to where they will continually generate an income for you long after the time or money investment of setting them up.

Network Marketing allows you to leverage people who will be a self managing sales force selling other peoples products that will produce a commission for you long after you introduce them to the business.

There is actually a lot of money being made with these programs and it’s being made by the people who are selling these programs to you. Think about it, do you think someone is really going to pay you just to surf the web?

There are many ways to make money on the internet, I have been making my living off the internet for over 12 years. I have never made any money and have never known anyone who has made any money from buying some program that offered an easy turn key way to make money.

These programs prey on people’s desperation to make money with good sounding sales material. But when you buy and get the material it’s probably not going to be what they made it sound like it was going to be in the sales letter.

Nobody is going to pay you to surf the web. But someone might pay you if you create or offer something of value on the web. That’s how you make money on the internet is by creating something or selling something that people will want to buy. People only pay you when you give them something of value in return.

When you buy these programs you will probably get something that was not what you were expecting. Something that is not nearly as easy or likely as the sales letters for these programs make it sound when they claim you can earn money surfing the web.

If you want success with the internet you will have to educate yourself and be creative and stand out from the millions of other people who are trying to make money on the internet. Sometimes this involves months or years of working for little or no money while you go through a learning curve. Sometimes this involves changing yourself into someone who is valuable to others so they will want to pay you for something.

You can make a lot of money on the internet but you are expecting to buy some program and then start earning money surfing the web I am telling you now it’s not that simple. This doesn’t mean give up on making money on the internet, it just means watch out for people who are giving ridiculous claims to get you to send them money.

The truth is these programs work very well and make a lot of money for some people. Those people are the ones who are selling the programs to you. It’s hard to find any real information about paid survey programs on the internet because when you do a search about all you are going to find is advertisements and fake articles.  These articles are just poorly disguised sales material trying to convince you that you can get paid to take a survey so you will buy their program.

I have been involved in internet marketing and have been making my living off the internet for over 12 years and I have yet to know of one single person who makes money taking surveys.

I have known a few people who have tried making money taking surveys who never made any money. About all they really got out of it was a ruined email address because it got sold to spammers who flood them with spam every day.

Not only do the survey programs get your email address they also ask for a lot of other info like your address phone number and social security number.

With some you may be able to earn coupons and some you may be able to earn money with but only after you jump through some hoops. If you don’t mind submitting all your friend’s email addresses and so they can receive spam too and convince them to buy some subscriptions or products you may be able to make some money with survey programs.

If you are looking to make money entering data on the internet let me tell you the catch with those ads. They are trying to sell you an ebook that will then tell you to start placing advertisements on the internet. That is the data that you will be entering. Much of the time you will also have to pay to place these ads. Then the way you get paid is if by chance someone buys something from you. What you will usually be selling is the same ebook you just bought.

In fact these programs are so deceptive in their claims that Google has banned them from advertising in their Adwords Pay Per Click program and Clickbank, one of the biggest online merchant services, has also banned the data entry online programs from using their system.

Unless you are a professional internet marketer you are probably not going to make much if any money doing those kind of things anyway. Just like the data entry online programs, most online opportunities being advertised involve trying to sell something either with network marketing, mlm, internet marketing, chain letters or all of the above. Most of them are very similar, they just have different sales gimmicks to try to get you to buy their ebooks.

If you are tired of all of this nonsense there is one opportunity that doesn’t involve any of this. No marketing of anything of any kind. That opportunity is with the forex or foreign exchange. With the forex you make a profit from the constant fluctuation of world currency prices. Before you start to think this sounds complicated, it’s really not. It’s actually quite simple.

After it goes up click the sell button and take your profit.

It’s that simple. It’s just a matter of knowing when it’s time to buy and sell. But the markets usually move in pattern and usually gives signals that are easy to see on the charts. Now there is even automated software that will do all of this for you. These programs are called robots. You can install them on your computer or even a remote computer and using time tested systems the software will watch the markets and buy and sell for you when it gets the right signals.

Not all trades are winners but with a good system you can get an advantage over the market and make a very nice living starting with very little money.
