It's getting hard to take environmental activists seriously.

We do need to take better care of the environment but hanging out getting stoned pretending to be holier than thou and complaining about George Bush and the greedy corporations doesn't accomplish anything except turn the general population off to the whole environmental movement.

True environmental protection starts with you and your daily decisions. Leading by example and practicing what you preach. Choosing to live a lifestyle of not parasitically consuming more than you produce. Educating yourself with facts instead of falling for the latest politically correct environmental fad or guru.

It's all of our responsibility to protect our environment. How many trees have you planted? How much trash have you picked up in your community? Do you complain about the evil corporations and what they do to the earth but still buy their products anyway? Do you complain that we should quit burning fossil fuels and go solar but not have a single solar panel on your own roof? How do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
